Privacy Policy

At Coach Martin Counseling and Coaching, we believe in transparency, trust, and your right to make informed decisions about your care.

Informed Consent

Counseling is a collaborative process. Before we begin, you’ll receive clear information about the nature of services, potential risks and benefits, confidentiality, your rights as a client, and my responsibilities as a provider. You have the right to ask questions and give your voluntary agreement to participate in services.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is a top priority. All information shared in counseling sessions is confidential and protected by law, with a few exceptions required by Texas law—such as cases involving danger to self or others, child or elder abuse, or a valid court order.

We follow the ethical guidelines and professional standards outlined in the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) and Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors’ Code of Ethics. You can learn more at https://www.bhec.texas.gov.
